I started Hireplicity in 2008 because I saw a gap in how offshore engineering worked. Clients were paying for "senior developers" and getting bodies who needed hand-holding. They were being sold "partnerships" and getting purchase orders. I was a US-based CTO who knew how to build software products — and I wanted to build a team that operated the way product teams do.

EdTech became our anchor because it is the most demanding software environment I know. FERPA compliance, multi-tenant architecture at scale, accessibility requirements, complex integrations — if you can build software that passes a FERPA audit and handles millions of concurrent learners, you can build anything.
